Professor David Newsome
Professor in the School of Environmental Science at Murdoch University, Perth, Western Australia.
His principal research interests are geotourism and the biophysical impacts of recreation and tourism in protected areas. He has co-authored three books on geotourism and is a member of the IUCN World Commission on Protected Areas and Honorary Advisory Committee member of the Hong Kong Geopark Guide System.
